"These stunning works by young Chinese painter, Zheng Hong Xiang (b 1983) have been making their way around the web over the past few weeks, and this painting you see here is quite dynamic. The deep reds caught our attention first."

 Choose one of the paintings and answer the following questions. 

What type of art does this remind you of?  Explain.  What genre?

What do you think the significance of the red is?  And why?

Is there contrast within the paintings?  If so, where and how?

What do you think is the message the artist is trying to convey?
